Mixed media painting – A nice month of May

– Coins evoking 2 paintings I made :  « Yayoi Kusama’s portrait » and « Pretty in rich and blue »,
– Dried flowers of goodluck lily of the valley that I  received,
– Cyrano de Bergerac. I helped Pierre in the study of the play and we have been to the theater to watch it on stage. A great interpretation and a curious staging, a mix of uninteresting « bold » ideas and great use of modern technology.
– Petals from a  Pierre de Ronsard rose coming from my garden.
– A crow’s feather, tribute to all those crows I painted.
– Claude Monet. I helped François on a art history project about les Nympheas. Great success, the examiners want to visit now :-))
And the sihouette of the very pretty girl of café Procope in her pink version.

– Des pièces qui évoquent 2 tableaux que j’ai peints, le portrait de Yayoi Kusama et Pretty in rich and blue.
– Des fleurs séchées du muguet porte-bonheur que j’ai reçu.
– Cyrano de Bergerac. J’ai aidé Pierre à étudier la pièce et nous sommes allés assister à une représentation. Une fantastique interprétation et une curieuse mise en scène, mélangeant parti pris audacieux et foireux et bonne utilisation de la technologie.
– Une plume de corbeau, allusion à ma série récente.
– Claude Monet. J’ai aidé mon fils François pour un dossier d’histoire des arts au sujet des Nymphéas. Grand succès, les examinatrices veulent aller voir maintenant.
Et la silhouette de la très jolie fille du café Procope dans sa version rose.
