Before the beginning, the fool – Avant même le début, le fou

The first I sketched. The one I sketched with the greatest ease and, in the end, the one which satisfied me the least. And I am unable to find why because it fits the bill.

Inspiration

The light feathers of the Visconti card and the cheerful look of the Ryder-Waite’s fool. An Armani bag seen in a window of Saint Germain des prés. Sweets colors. And the untameable hair of one my great daughters.  

Symbolic

Zero. The free arcana. The card of beginnings and new beginnings. 

The lighter arcana, aerial, it weighs zero.! Spontaneity, freshness, carelessness, the baggage is light, but it exists. The clothing is joyful, the step is alert, spontaneous. The destination is not yet determined. Foolish in the childish meaning, reason does not limit yet, the kid believes everything is possible. Innocence. 
The character is young, careless, in movement.
Total freedom, madness, chaos. Unbridled creativity. 

Interpretation trails

One must consider all that is possible, take one’s bagage into account but, mostly, not to be crushed by it. No road should be excluded too quickly.
To free oneself. Choose one’s road listening to one’s instinct, one’s heart. 

To be certain that the limits one perceives are true limits and not fear or interdicts, anxieties which one has interiorized. 

To look at the world with a different look.
To branch off, even start again in the opposite direction.

Inspiration

Les plumes légères de la carte Visconti et l’allure enjouée du fou Ryder-Waite. Un sac Armani vu dans une vitrine de Saint Germain des prés. Des couleurs de bonbons. Les cheveux indomptables d’une de mes petites filles.

Symbolique

Zéro. L’arcane libre. La carte des commencements et recommencements. 

L’arcane la plus légère, aérienne, elle pèse zéro ! La spontanéité, la fraîcheur, l’insouciance, le bagage est léger, mais pas inexistant. Le vêtement est gai, le pas est alerte, spontané. La destination n’est pas encore fixée. Insensé, au sens enfantin, la raison ne le limite pas encore, il croit que tout est possible. Innocence.

Le personnage est jeune, insouciant, en mouvement.
Liberté totale, folie, chaos. Créativité débridée. 

Pistes d’interprétation

Il faut envisager tous les possibles. Tenir compte de son bagage, mais surtout ne pas être écrasé par lui. Ne pas s’interdire de route trop vite.
Se libérer. Choisir sa route en écoutant son instinct,son coeur.

Etre certain que les limites que l’on perçoit sont de vraies limites et non de la peur ou des interdits, anxiétés que l’on a intériorisés. 

Regarder le monde avec un regard différent.
Bifurquer, voire repartir dans l’autre sens.
