I have no faith in any sort of Gods but after what happened in Paris I felt compelled to paint this inspired by a very old orthodox icon. I have been educated as a liberal christian and appreciate some of the messages of Christ. Nevertheless my reaction astonishes me. Mixed media. Japanese paper, pastel, acrylic
