The spell thrower, mixed media painting

A few years ago, I saw on the net a painting  by a fellow painter which made such a strong impression on me that I had to give my interpretation of it urgently. I painted in a rush and stopped just a few brushs strokes from the end,  unable to finish.
I posted about that spell and the painter decided  to block me….  And it nearly broke the spell…
I made some progres but stil thought the painting was not finished.
More times passed and I decided to finish for true and did not like the result.

But that painting (utterly different from the work which inspired it) has a strong presence. 
It is not what I would like but it definitively is !
