My departing point is a photo of Tokyo, blurry, softly colored, very impressionnist.
I glued it on an ATC and began painting over it. After much efforts, it ended in a full mess.
But I found that mess interesting. So I took a wooden panel and summarized that mess.
Once the work finished, I realized that it was more about my souvenirs than about Tokyo : the laboratory where my dad played with colors, the refinery where I worked as a young executive plus a few others that I can not even remember.
This painting belongs to the series “following the color wizard”
