Haiku and mixed media – The small barque, painting – La petite barque, peinture

Brought by a cold sea
Strong soul of our childhood
Little wooden barque

I’ve been toiling on this small painting (20cmx20cm) for years  to the point that it’s no more the original canvas but parts of it glued on another one, the children’s faces.

The small boat has disappeared but its soul is now more present. At least in my opinion.

My young brother kept the barque but now I have it also 

Offerte par la mer
Ame puissante de notre enfance
Petite barque de bois

J’ai ramé, l’expression est adaptée, sur ce tableau pendant des années au point que ce n’est pas la toile originale, mais des morceaux collés sur une autre, les visages d’enfants.

La petite barque a disparu, mais son âme est plus présente. En tout cas, c’est mon opinion.

Mon jeune frère a gardé la barque mais maintenant, je l’ai aussi
